Grace for the trials, help from above,\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n

Unfailing sympathy, undying love. <\/strong><\/p>\n

In life\u2019s journey we all at some point come across the darkness, lightening and storm. These experiences help us to mature, to get to know God better and to understand our own needs more clearly.\u00a0 God sows into us our life and when our life matures, He uses us greatly.<\/strong><\/p>\n

God is merciful.\u00a0 At first we only know how to enjoy each and every blessing from God.\u00a0 When difficulties come, then we start to doubt God, wondering if He really loves us.\u00a0 Is there a reason why He takes us through this process?\u00a0 Remember, God always loves us.\u00a0 The Bible tells us that He disciplines those that He loves so that we will be obedient and submissive to Him and learn to trust Him.\u00a0 And, without trials and tribulations, we would not understand the needs of others who are going through trials and tribulations.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Through my sickness I realized two transformations: The first was the physical and bodily transformation. The radioactive cancer treatment killed my salivary glands.\u00a0 As a result, my throat is always dry. It hurts when I speak loudly and I need to drink water all the time.\u00a0 The second was an emotional transformation.\u00a0 Previously, I had never shed tears.\u00a0 But now my heart became softened.\u00a0 I would cry while reading a letter or a testimony.\u00a0 The Bible says, \u201cBlessed are those who mourn\u201d.\u00a0 We mourn for our sins and we mourn for the needs of others.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This experience has allowed me to know God in a deeper way.\u00a0 What a great blessing that is!\u00a0 Job said, \u201cMy ears had heard of you, but now my eyes have seen you.\u201d\u00a0 Job was a good man, a righteous person, one appreciated by God.\u00a0 God let tribulations fall upon him.\u00a0 Through the tribulations, Job came to know God better.\u00a0 This is not \u201cknowing through rational reasoning\u201d, it is \u201cknowing through experiencing God\u201d.\u00a0 From hearing to experiencing, from the objective to the subjective, this is the practical experience.\u00a0 My sickness has allowed me to know God more deeply and to hear more clearly His precious words.\u00a0 He spoke to me in my pain and showed me how real and precious His words are to me in a very personal and loving way.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
