Wong<\/strong><strong>\u8ddf\u8cf4\u5e2b\u6bcd\u5b78\u6cd5\u6587\uff0c\u6240\u4ee5\u4ed6\u9080\u8acb\u6211<\/strong><strong>\u665a<\/strong><strong>\u4e0a<\/strong><strong>\u53bb\u53c3\u52a0\u5718\u5951<\/strong><strong>\u7684\u611b\u7b75\uff0c\u7576<\/strong><strong>\u665a\u6211<\/strong><strong>\u7b2c\u4e00\u6b21\u9047\u898b\u4e86\u8cf4\u5e2b\u6bcd\u3002\u90a3\u5e74\u6211\u5341\u56db<\/strong><strong>\u6b72<\/strong><strong>\uff0c\u525b\u4fe1\u4e3b\uff0c\u4e5f\u662f\u525b\u525b\u79fb\u6c11\u5230\u52a0\u62ff\u5927<\/strong><strong>\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u3000\u3000\u5341\u56db<\/strong><strong>\u6b72<\/strong><strong>\u662f\u4e00\u500b\u5145\u6eff\u4e0d\u78ba\u5b9a\uff0c\u4e14\u601d\u60f3\u52d5\u6416\u4e0d\u5b9a\u7684\u5e74\u7d00\u3002\u73fe\u5728\u56de\u60f3\uff0c\u90a3\u6642\u6b63\u662f\u81ea\u5df1\u6700\u9700\u8981\u88ab\u80af\u5b9a\u7684\u5e74\u4ee3\u3002\u90a3\u6642\uff0c\u8cf4\u5e2b\u6bcd\u6b63\u662f\u7528\u5145\u6eff\u78ba\u5b9a\u548c\u5e73\u7a69\u7684\u8072\u97f3\u5e36\u9818\u6211\u5011\u3002\u5728\u90a3<\/strong><strong>\u665a<\/strong><strong>\u7684\u611b\u7b75<\/strong><strong>\u4e2d\uff0c\u6211\u5728\u5979\u5bb6\u611f\u5230\u975e\u5e38\u8212\u670d\u3002\u5979\u5e36\u9818\u6211\u5011\u73a9\u4e86\u4e00\u500b\u5f88\u6709\u8da3\u7684\u7834\u51b0\u904a\u6232\uff0c\u4e00\u76f4\u5230\u73fe\u5728\uff0c<\/strong><strong>\u6bcf<\/strong><strong>\u7576\u6211\u8981\u5e36\u9818\u65b0\u7684\u5c0f\u7d44\u6642\uff0c\u90fd\u6703\u91cd\u8986\u4f7f\u7528\u90a3\u500b\u7834\u51b0\u904a\u6232<\/strong><strong>\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u3000\u3000\u90a3\u5e74\u79cb\u5929\uff0c\u6211\u6b63\u5f0f\u6210\u70ba\u6d3b\u6cc9\u5ba3\u9053\u6703\u7684\u9752\u5e74\u5718\u5951\u7684\u5718\u53cb\u3002\u6d3b\u6cc9\u5ba3\u9053\u6703\u662f\u6211\u7b2c\u4e00\u500b\u6bcd\u6703\uff0c\u8cf4\u5e2b\u6bcd\u662f\u6211\u7b2c\u4e00\u500b\u4e3b\u65e5\u5b78\u8001\u5e2b\uff0c\u70ba\u6211\u7684\u4fe1\u4ef0\u6210\u9577\u6253\u4e0b\u4e86\u57fa\u790e\u3002<\/strong><strong>\u6559\u5c0e\u6211\u600e\u6a23\u79b1\u544a\u548c\u79b1\u544a\u7684\u91cd\u8981\u6027\uff0c\u5411\u6211\u5c55\u793a\u656c\u62dc\u7684\u898f\u7bc4\uff0c\u9f13\u52f5\u6211\u5728\u6559\u6703\u88e1\u53c3<\/strong><strong>\u8207\u670d\u4f8d\u3002\u96d6\u7136\u6211\u5728\u6d3b\u6cc9\u5ba3\u9053\u6703\u53ea\u6709\u4e09\u5e74\uff0c\u4f46\u5979\u6240\u6559\u5c0e\u6211\u7684\u4e8b\u60c5\uff0c\u9019\u5eff\u5e74\u88e1\uff0c\u6211\u4ecd\u7136<\/strong><strong>\u6bcf<\/strong><strong>\u5929\u5be6\u884c\u3002<\/strong> <strong>\u3000\u3000\u5979\u66fe\u70ba\u6211\u505a\u7684<\/strong><strong>\u6bcf<\/strong><strong>\u4ef6\u4e8b\uff0c\u6211\u4e5f\u5b78\u6548\u5979\u7167\u6a23\u505a\u5728\u4ed6\u4eba\u8eab\u4e0a\u3002\u5929\u5929\u79b1\u544a\u5230\u5982\u4eca\uff1b\u6309\u8457\u5979\u6559\u6211\u7684\u65b9\u6cd5\u8b80\u8056\u7d93\u53ca\u6559\u4e3b\u65e5\u5b78\uff0c<\/strong><strong>\u53c3\u8207\u5e36\u9818\u656c\u62dc\u7684\u4e8b\u5de5\uff0c\u8a13\u7df4\u5152\u7ae5\u9810\u5099\u5c07\u4f86\u80fd\u5e36\u9818\u656c\u62dc\u3002\u5979\u7684\u6559\u5c0e\u548c\u5f71\u97ff\u662f\u5979\u7559\u7d66\u6211\u7684\u907a<\/strong><strong>\u7522<\/strong><strong>\uff0c\u6211\u7acb\u5fd7\u5728\u9019\u4e00\u751f\u4e2d\u8981\u628a<\/strong><strong> \u9019\u4efd\u907a<\/strong><strong>\u7522<\/strong><strong>\u50b3\u4e0b\u53bb\uff0c\u70ba\u4e86\u69ae\u8000\u795e\uff0c\u6b63\u5982\u8cf4\u5e2b\u6bcd\u6240\u505a\u7684\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u3000\u3000\u8cf4\u5e2b\u6bcd\u5c0d\u6211\u5011\u90fd\u662f\u51fa\u65bc\u771f\u5fc3\u7684\u611b\u8207\u95dc\u61f7\uff0c\u4e14\u9762\u5e36\u5fae\u7b11\u3002\u96d6\u7136\u5979<\/strong><strong>\u6bcf<\/strong><strong>\u5929\u90fd\u8981\u5fcd\u53d7\u985e\u98a8\u6fd5\u6027\u95dc\u7bc0\u708e\u6240\u9020\u6210\u7684\u5de8\u5927\u75db\u695a\uff0c\u4f46\u662f\u5979\u537b\u6d3b\u51fa\u5341\u5206\u6709\u610f\u7fa9\u7684\u4eba\u751f\u3002\u5979\u4f7f\u7528\u795e\u7d66\u5979\u7684<\/strong><strong>\u6bcf<\/strong><strong>\u4e00\u500b\u6069\u8cdc\u53bb\u5f71\u97ff\u4ed6\u4eba\uff0c\u670d\u4f8d\u4ed6\u4eba\uff0c\u5979\u662f\u4e00\u500b\u771f\u6b63\u50d5\u4eba\u9818\u8896\u7684\u6977\u6a21\u3002<\/strong> been asked to say a few words to recount my memories of Mrs. Yvonne Lai. I first met Mrs. Lai in the summer of 1991. It was a potluck at her home organized to kick-off a youth group at Vancouver Fountain Alliance Church (VFAC). I was invited by my school friend Raymond Wong, who was being tutored by Mrs. Lai in French.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>My name is Abraham Lim. I was 14 years old at the time I met Mrs. Lai. I was a new Christian. A new immigrant. A relatively new teenager. It was a time of uncertainty and upheaval. Looking back, it was a time I needed a lot of guidance and some semblance of stability.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>I believe Mrs. Lai embodied that voice of stability and guidance at that time. I felt comfortable in her home during the potluck. She played fascinating ice-breaker games with us that I still use to this day when I bring together new groups.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>I did eventually joined the fledgling youth group at VFAC in the fall of 1991. As a new Christian, I had never previously grown up in any church. This really was my first home church. Mrs. Lai became my first Sunday School teacher and became the catalyst for the foundational years of my spiritual development.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>She gave me my first Bible study and helped me explore the anatomy of God&#8217;s Word.\u00a0 She taught me how she prayed and the important components of prayer. She demonstrated how she worshipped. She encouraged me to serve and volunteer my time for others in my church community.\u00a0 While I only spent 3 years with her there, those things she taught me are things I still do to this very day almost 20 years later.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Everything she did for me, I eventually did for others. I prayed every day from then on. I read the Bible in the same analytical way she taught me. I taught Sunday School although I must say Mrs. Lai is a far better teacher than I was. I volunteered my time to lead worship and now am training children to be worship leaders of tomorrow. Mrs. Lai&#8217;s influence continues to touch people&#8217;s lives to this day. For me, this is the legacy she has left behind for me.
